Pictures of People!
Lone Star College-CyFair Lighting of the Lake Festival
This is another promotional-esque blog about LSC again....
Our school is soo pretty :)
So what was there to do at this fun filled afternoon??
Take pictures in front of the Gingerbread House and Mr. Gingerbread himself.
Student Ambassadors passed out Christmas hats with elf ears for all the little ones.
They also passed Gingerbread cookies for the kids to decorate.
Gingerbread cookies creation :) Wow... that's a lot of sugar = energetic kids...
Free cupcakes! The only thing difficult about this task is choosing which one....
Face painting!!!!!
Photo op with SANTA in his sleigh :)
The dance team
The dance team getting the kids to dance!
It even snowed at the end of the night!!! ... Ok I LIED! It was bubbles... but It's the thought that counts.
And plus the kids had lots of fun anyways :)
Other pictures that I happened to like.
The Student Ambassador with their Elf hats and our school's mascot.
AHA It would make sense that Ambassadors would be elfs... because we're the workers for events like these... (light bulb moment)
Hey! It's Frosty the Snowman...
I spend too much time in this place.. hahaha. This event happened a little over a month agoo.... ooopps haven't done any blogging for a while because of finals and other stuff...

I had a dream I went to a WEDDING!
Wanna hear something weird??
A while back I had a dream that I went to a wedding with my friend. In the dream I didn't know who was getting married or why I was there. But my friend who was sitting next to me was singing horribly off-tune and playing the air guitar. I was thoroughly embarrassed, yet the funny thing was no one turned around to shush us as if we weren't there at all.... and then I don't remember the rest.
A couple weeks later.... that SAME friend, invited me to the wedding to take pictures of his family!
How odd. Now if only my dream of winning the lottery would come true as well....
Darn.. no such luck here...
The pictures was taken at night. Though it was on a well-lit stage, I was still a little nervous on how it would turn out because I don't have a strong flash and I'm not good at night photography. Also, I didn't do anything creative on my part as the photographer, sadly. But the family told me that they love the pictures, so I'm pretty happy about that. :)
Here are some of the funner pictures... (yes, I used the word funner, as in more fun)
I like that both the mom and the dad walked the bride down the aisle.
This is my favorite picture :)
Pretty cake!
The cake topper.

BOYS, BOYS, BOYS
As you can probably tell from the title, this is a guys photoshoot.
I didn't intend to do an all-guys thing. On Tuesday, I decided to randomly have a photoshoot of whoever was willing to come tag along. The fun thing about shooting a lot of guys is that they don't pose. And they stand awkwardly spaced out from each other. They remind me of the birds evenly spaced out on the telephone wire. It's definitely different from shooting a bunch of girls. Anyways, the pictures came out nice because they were pretty much natural, talking to each other while comfortably ignoring me. I guess I'm just that easy to ignore.... haha JK. I hope. HA
I don't understand why these guys are so interested in watching Nestor picking his nose.... hahahah
And what's with the "hand-in-the-pocket" thing??
Ohh and do you see what I mean when I say evenly spaced out like a bunch of birds on a telephone wire?
HAhaha
With more prettier, cool, blue sky weather coming up, I'll have more picture days and more pictures to post.
YAY!
So... what should my next photography subject be?
